Exceptional food and service. Dinned here for dinner as a couple and their new menu is truly amazing. I couldn’t tell you what my favourite dishes were because both me and my partner enjoyed every dish and every bite. I really loved the little breads and butter to begin with and every plate after that was presented beautifully. The strawberry dessert topped everything off. Highly recommend and would definitely be back.

Ate here during restaurant week, we had not been for a few years. Glad that the staff approach is much more laid back and friendly these days. Food was fabulous, nothing but praise for the quality and at 25 for two courses, really good value we thought. We look forward to returning, soon! Cheers.

Fantastic, please do not miss out! Went as a couple pre theatre meal with menu fixe at 4 pm. Not sure who was the brigade in the kitchen but some real talent. The technical delivery was enviable and stands up to any challenges. Amuse bouche of beef cheek and fondant potato with a deep jus, great start. Duck rillettes in a formed pan fried roll, three different plate sauces in Jackson Pollock style but the onion jam was the star, real skill. Other side of the table enjoyed a pastry onion tart topped with goat cheese fondant and grilled but again the wild garlic dressing contrast was colour and taste with the pickle onion juice pearls, wow! Mains were lamb cooked sude vide and then pan fried the potato mandolin prepped was a genuine million layer roast. Salmon perfectly cooked two ways pan and as a fish croquette. No puds but shared a cheese plate home made sesame tuille. The current chutney a real treat. House red was fun soft but full and spanish, white was a fresh Sauvignon Adobe from Chile both very good and for the price recommended. Friendly helpful front of house team. Highly recommend very high food presentation and cooking standards

We had a lovely meal at a very reasonable price yesterday evening. I managed to knock an almost full glass of red wine over the table and on my trousers. The staff were brilliant. Mopped it up very quickly and brought me a replacement glass of wine. Roy the waiter was just super. Thanks so much
